Study: Master Urban Environmental Management (Sustainable Urban Development), Wageningen University & Research, Major ‘International Climate and Environmental Policy.
Previously worked at consultancy and engineering firm Arcadis and think tank Epico Climate Innovation.
It was at Epico that I first got involved with hydrogen and CCS and found the politics behind it fascinating.
What drives me: contributing to the development and implementation of sustainable energy solutions with a focus on innovation and environmental awareness.
For almost two years I have been working as an energy expert at the Dutch Embassy, where I deal with the bilateral energy relationship NL-DE
(electricity market, gas, wind energy, and also H2 and CO2).
More specifically in the hydrogen and CO2 area, this means: actively building our hydrogen relations and bilateral H2 corridors, mediating between the NL ministries and the BMWK; connecting NL and DE companies working on the hydrogen technologies of tomorrow so that the strengths of both sectors can be optimally utilised.
