WINDFORCE Baltic Sea 2023

20 - 21 November 2023, Warnemünde | Deutschland

After previous conferences in Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Poland and Sweden, the 21st WINDFORCE Baltic Sea Offshore Wind and Hydrogen Conference will take place for the first time in Rostock-Warnemünde on 20 and 21.11.23. The WAB is organizing this year's WINDFORCE Baltic Sea in cooperation with the Windenergie-Network e.V. The goal of the German government is the expansion of 30 GW offshore wind by 2030, including areas in the Baltic Sea. Currently, more than 8 gigawatts of offshore wind energy are in operation in Germany, of which 1.1 GW are in the Baltic Sea. Infrastructure, production capacities, skilled workers, service and maintenance as well as an international Baltic Sea outlook will therefore be important topics of the 21st WINDFORCE Baltic Sea in addition to excursions and networking opportunities.

Jens Assheuer, Chairman of the board of WAB e.V.

The conference was opened by Christian Meyer, Lower Saxony's Minister for the Environment, Energy and Climate Protection and Ines Jesse, State Secretary for Economics, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labor of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The WINDFORCE dinner is always a highlight. It offers delegates and speakers a wonderful place to make new contacts and discuss topics in depth in a special atmosphere. Dennis Kruse, Deputy Chairman of the WAB Board and Andree Iffländer, Chairman of the WindEnergy Network e.V., will open the dinner.
