Bianca Barth joined the policy team at Amprion GmbH in Berlin in January 2025.

She is primarily responsible for political support in the areas of offshore, grid planning and expansion as well as planning and approval acceleration.

Previously, as Head of Regulatory Affairs Germany at Ørsted Deutschland GmbH, she was responsible for the regulatory framework for offshore wind farms in the German market.

Prior to her time in the offshore sector, Ms Barth was responsible for EU work at the German Association of the New Energy Industry (bne), where she helped to establish the European umbrella organisation European Energy Retailers (EER).

She studied political science in Berlin and also worked for several years for the American energy association Smart Electric Power Alliance in Washington, DC.
