In this role, she supports all national and international political processes relating to the expansion of the offshore transmission grid.

One focus of her work is the development of an offshore grid in the North Sea consisting of hybrid interconnectors and energy hubs.

Since 2012, she has been able to build up her expertise in the field of energy, politics and communication, initially in an energy agency,
as a lecturer at the University of Osnabrück and since 2016 at TenneT.

Janina Habethal has an MA in Media Culture from the University of Bremen and also has qualifications in sustainability management from Leuphana University Lüneburg.
