Lecture content:
The continuing growth of offshore wind needs to be supported by solid and adapted logistics.
Globally, growth in dominant offshore wind areas is realized in ever further offshore locations as costal sites are developed and operating.
Locally, in the German Bight, increased need is developing for local logistics capacity, especially for O&M activities.
In addition, commercial pressure for offshore wind operations is growing and logistics concepts need to be adapted.
JD Offshore addresses these topics with the development of an Offshore Hub in Wilhelmshaven and projecting a major CTV newbuild program targeted at further offshore sites.
Our presentation will outline the problem and the envisioned solutions.
