Matthias Petzsch has been working in the insurance industry since 2010, having held several positions as a mechanical engineer.
He has worked as an expert and underwriter for technical insurance as well as international insurance solutions with various insurers and brokers.
His focus for many years has been on risks in the renewable energy sector, particularly onshore and offshore wind projects,
both in the construction and operational phases, including international programs.
He joined Marsh in October 2023, initially as a Key Client Executive in the Energy & Power Specialty and currently as Strategic Placement Leader.
He brings extensive knowledge of the insurance market and has a deep understanding of the specific risk issues faced by insureds.
With this background, he plays a critical role in developing insurance solutions for Marsh’s clients and supports them with his wind power expertise.
