Robert Slettenhaar is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management within the wind and aerospace industries. He has held senior leadership roles at major players such as GE Wind, Areva Wind, Siemens Wind, LM Wind Power and MHI Vestas (MVOW)

In 2012, Robert joined LM Wind Power as Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), a position he held until 2018, when GE Wind acquired LM. Following this, he became CPO at MVOW (Mitsubishi Vestas Offshore Wind) in 2019, based in Aarhus, where he remained until its integration into Vestas.

With deep expertise across the entire wind energy value chain ”from governments and developers to OEMs and component suppliers ” Robert has been actively shaping the industry.

Beyond his corporate roles, Robert has been a driving force in industry organizations. In 2010, he founded Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE), the Dutch wind export association, where he continues to serve on the board. He is also a board member of GWEC (Global Wind Energy Council) and METYX Composites, where he focuses on board advisory functions.

Currently, Robert leverages his expertise as an independent consultant and board advisor, helping organisations navigate the evolving wind energy landscape.
