40 years of experience in the deployment of renewable energy.

As Program manager offshore wind at RVO.

Previous roles include Secretary of the Expert Commission for the National Energy Plan 2050;

Office Manager of e-Decentraal (association for local energy cooperations);

Project lead of the EU ERA-NET SmartGrids;

Secretary National Platform for Transition to a Sustainable Electricity Supply.

Co-ordinator of RVO’s on- and offshore wind programmes;

member of the Irish Energy Investment Advisory Committee,

vice chair of the EU Platform electricity grids (SmartGrids) and ExCo member IEA Implementing Agreement Renewable Energy Technology Deployment.

Started my career at a utility, worked as energy consultant, and joined one of RVO’s predecessors in 1987.

The mix of power grids, distributed generation and renewable energy has been in my port folio since the eighties.
