CV:

Sander des Tombe is an experienced public affairs and offshore energy professional, dedicated to advancing offshore innovation and sustainability at both national and European levels.

Since 2020, he has served as Dutch Marine Energy Ambassador at the Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC) and Ocean Energy Europe (OEE), shaping policy frameworks that accelerate the commercialization of offshore renewable energy innovations.

Earlier in his career, he held public and regulatory affairs roles at Publyon, the Netherlands Embassy in Yangon and the Clingendael Institute, specializing on international negotiation processes.

Sander holds a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from the University of Groningen with a Minor in energy politics at the University of Aberdeen.
