Prof. Dr. hab. Ernest Czermański – economist, scientist, entrepreneur.
A graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk, holder of a post-doctoral degree in economic sciences and professor at the University of Gdańsk,
where he heads the Maritime Economy Department of the Faculty of Economics.
Individual entrepreneur and co-founder and President of the Management Board of Bota Green Offshore – first Polish CTV (crew transfer vessel) shipowner,
combining expertise in maritime economics, offshore wind energy organisation and entrepreneurship development.

Author of over 100 publications on maritime economy and transport. Co-author of Pomerania’s Intelligent Specialisation No. 1 in ports,
logistics and offshore and the National Intelligent Specialisation of the offshore industry.

In addition, expert in technical-technological, economic-financial feasibility assessment of projects applying for EU funding under national and regional operational programmes.
Manager of numerous national (NCBiR) and international (Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, Interreg BSR, 7th FP) R&D projects.
He is currently implementing a business project within the BOTA Group for the development of CTV fleet operations for the Polish wind offshore industry by supporting local content.
