Jost Backhaus is the general manager of Steelwind, a major global manufacturer of monopile foundation structures, headquartered in Nordenham and a 100% subsidiary of the Dillinger Hütte.

He joined Steelwind mid of 2023 and took up the responsibility for sales, project management, commercials and the business development.

He has been in the renewable energy sector for more than 20 years, and worked, among other things, as a COO on the board of a large onshore wind turbine manufacturer.
