Mr. Wölfel is a shareholder of the Wölfel Group and based in Hamburg where the operational wind activities of the company are pooled.

With a background in civil engineering and experience in more than 10 years of structural monitoring of blade, tower and foundation of wind turbines, he built up the business unit of offshore windfarm monitoring.

Focus is the supply and installation of monitoring hardware and the operation and analysis of the monitoring data for a lifetime assessment of the foundations.

Wölfel has implemented its monitoring systems in more than 20 offshore wind projects all over the world with many different foundation structures.

Today Mr. Wölfel is responsible for the development of the company in worldwide offshore wind projects.
