Following his training as an electronics technician for operating technology at EWE Netz GmbH in Oldenburg, Christian Hannover studied a bachelor’s degree in electrical power engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen and a master’s degree in electrical engineering and information technology at the University of Bremen.

During this time, he worked as a student trainee at DEKRA Automobil GmbH in Bremen and as a student trainee and and technical employee at the Fraunhofer IWES in Bremerhaven.

After a year as a grid engineer trainee at Tiroler Wasserkraft AG in Austria he moved to Omexom Renewable Energies Offshore GmbH in Oldenburg in 2023. There, as an electrical engineering specialist, he is, among other things, an inspector for electrical and plant technology and as the responsible electrician for the Merkur offshore wind farm.
