Elmar Friedrich is leading the German market for Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP), a leading developer of offshore wind projects.

COP is the exclusive development partner of Copenhagen Infrastructure partner, a fund focusing on renewable energy investments with an investment volume of €26bn.

In Germany, COP is developing offshore windfarms, offshore transmission projects, H2 pipelines, and energy islands.

Prior to joining COP, Elmar worked at E.ON and RWE, where he developed offshore wind markets and projects in Asia, Europe and the US.

He holds a Ph.D in economics from the Chair for management of renewable energies at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland.
