Jakob Andersen took over as Consul General at the Consulate General of Denmark in Hamburg in June 2019.

Since the beginning of 2010, his team has focussed on energy and environmental technologies, where Danish experience and strengths support the green transition.

Over the past five years, Jakob Andersen has built up the energy and environment team in Germany, which now comprises 26 dedicated consultants in the fields of wind energy, energy efficiency, district heating, biogas, wastewater and water infrastructure, P2X, CCS and other energy and environmental areas.
