Board of Management Matthias Brandt is a qualified economist. Even before graduating, he was involved in issues relating to wind energy.
Since 2005, he has been responsible for the development and consolidation of various independent service units under the umbrella of Deutsche Windtechnik. In 2007, Matthias Brandt was appointed to the Executive Board of Deutsche Windtechnik.
As part of his role as a member of the Executive Board, he is responsible for the company’s overall development, including digitization and internationalization processes. He is also involved in numerous committees, technical committees, advisory boards and working groups, as well as a speaker and author on the subject of energy and wind. In 2022, Deutsche Windtechnik employed more than 2,100 people in the onshore and offshore wind energy sectors. The company has locations in Europe, North America and East Asia.
