Nils Schnorrenberger studied law and agricultural sciences at the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel.

He then worked as an environmental officer for Fischereibetriebsgesellschaft Bremerhaven (FBG) from 1993 to 1999 before taking over the management of the business development division at Bremerhaven’s business development company BIS in 1999 as a graduate engineer.

Since June 2010, he has been Managing Director of BIS, which acts as a service provider and partner for all companies that want to operate, grow, restructure or relocate to Bremerhaven.

In addition, Mr. Schnorrenberger has been Managing Director of BEAN, the Bremerhaven development company Alter/Neuer Hafen, since 2012.
