Peter Frohböse has been working in the renewable energy for almost two decades and during that time enjoyed the privilege of being able to spend his time predominantly in the offshore wind sector.

Peter is a structural and environmental engineer by education and received his German Diploma by the prestigious Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg, including a special award on his thesis about lifetime extension for wind turbines.

Peter started in the field of turbine and project certification as a professional engineer. After five years in one of the leading certification bodies he took the opportunity continue his career as an advisor and technical subject matter expert.

Over the last two decades, Peter has supported many developers, investors, lenders and the supply chain in numerous commercial offshore wind advisory projects. Peter has been leading several project teams but also managed technical teams. Besides the commercial work he has initiated and lead research and innovation projects both with external stakeholder involvement and company specific in DNV.

As a manager and team leader Peter Frohböse has as a managed certification, but also advisory teams including a ramp up a first DNV offshore wind team in Germany. He is currently Segment Lead for Offshore Wind within Region Northern Europe.
