Dirk Leibfried was born in 1968 and has been working for Niedersachsen Ports GmbH & Co KG since 2013. After his training as a banker and subsequent study of economics, he joined UmweltManagement AG UMaAG in Cuxhaven in 2000, where he was responsible for the commercial processing of onshore wind farms. At the beginning of 2005 he moved on to Bard Engineering GmbH, for which he initially developed and organized the production site in Emden for rotor blades and wind turbines as managing director. in 2009 he joined STRABAG/Züblin in Cuxhaven, where he planned the development of a production site for heavy duty foundations for offshore wind turbines. After his move to Niedersachsen Ports, the focus of his activities today is, in addition to the deputy branch management of the Cuxhaven branch, among other things, the marketing of the “Offshore Base Cuxhaven”, the development and construction of which he had helped to promote on the side of the industry.
