Felix Baierlein, born in Bayreuth in 1988, has been working for TenneT since 2016. As Sub Project Manager Licensing, he is responsible for the permit planning and plan-approval procedures for offshore grid connection systems within the coastal waters of Lower Saxony and, in cooperation with Amprion, is part of the project “Seetrassen 2030”. Since mid-2020, the mechanical engineering graduate has also held the function of Project Lead Licensing BalWin1. He is responsible for the approval planning of the first German 2GW grid connection system and of the first system to run along a corridor defined in the “Seetrassen 2030” project.
