Joerg has 30 years’ experience in offshore operations and submarine cables. From 1990 to 2005 he was involved submarine telecom cable installation and implementation of a new cable factory and various cable lay spreads. In 2005 he joined the NORNED HVDC power cable installation joint venture as Project Manager. In 2007 he became Director Project Implementation of a submarine power cable manufacturer. He oversaw several renewable projects and the construction of a power cable lay spread. Since January 2010 he is running his own company DOC together with Mr. Spalthoff to satisfy the increasing demand for project management competencies in the fast-growing European offshore renewables market. 2018 DOC was acquired by Tractebel Engineering to enhance the international presence. DOC started project management tasks in France, Poland, Netherlands, Sweden, UK, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
