Linda Fröck studied mechanical engineering with a focus on design and lightweight construction at the University of Rostock from 2008-2013. During her studies she worked as a research assistant in the field of bonding technology / new materials at the Fraunhofer Research Institute for Large Structures in Production Engineering IGP in Rostock.

Since May 2013, Ms. Fröck has been employed as a research associate in this department. Her main focus is on the design, layout and qualification of bonding processes and adhesives for various application areas. She is co-leader of the working group “Bonding in Shipbuilding”, which was founded in 2015 and is concerned with the simplified applicability of bonding technology in shipbuilding. Since the beginning of 2020, she has been team leader of the adhesive bonding technology group at the IGP.
