Frank Sill Torres is Director (acting) of the Institute of Maritime Infrastructure Protection at the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
He has a diploma and a doctorate in electrical engineering and was at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) from 2010 to 2018,
Brazil, as a professor of digital systems. He is a lecturer at the University of Bremen and at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences.
His main research interests include infrastructure resilience, maritime security and emerging technologies.
