Dr Lukas Vollmer received his PhD in physics in 2018 on the topic of wind farm yield optimization.

In his role as researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems IWES, he is responsible for offshore yield assessment in a variety of public and industry-financed projects. Currently he is leading the work package on long-term yield potential in the consulting project with the BSH for the update of the Flächenentwicklungsplan.
