Jens Assheuer has been Chairman of the WAB Board since 2020 and part of the WAB Board since 2015. In parallel, he acts as Managing Director of Assheuer Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH. After his engineering studies in Hanover, he started his career as an authorised signatory at Technologiekontor Bremerhaven in 2003. From 2008 to 2021, he was responsible as managing director first for the construction and later for the operation of the Meerwind Süd/Ost wind farm.
