Kristoffer Mordhorst has been plant manager of Siemens Gamesa’s offshore wind nacelle production in Cuxhaven since spring 2022. He studied industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Linköping University in Sweden. After working at Danfoss for a number of years, Mordhorst joined Siemens Gamesa in 2016, assisted in setting up the plant in Cuxhaven and initially worked there as Line Manager and Head of Production. The Cuxhaven native is not only fascinated by wind energy as a plant manager, but also knows how to use the energy of the wind in his free time as a kite surfer.
