Senior Chief Consultant since 2021 with Ramboll Germany in the department of Wind Consulting – Project Development & Advisory.

Originally trained in Geosciences, Dr Bernd Horstmann found his way into the offshore world through the field of submarine cable installation. He moved into the offshore wind industry in 2007 and has since held various senior positions with Offshore Windfarm Owners in Project Management as well as Operations Management. In his current position, Dr Bernd Horstmann is responsible for Ramboll’s Project Development and Advisory’s Asian project portfolio. Dr Bernd Horstmann is also a lecturer of the “Einsteiger Seminar” organized by WAB.
