Senior Underwriter at Munich Re’s team Green Tech Solutions responsible for development of new insurance solutions with focus on the offshore wind industry. He worked for more than 20 years as a specialist in risk assessment and underwriting of complex reinsurance risks.

Mathias started his working career in construction and test of satellites at the Max Planck Institute for Extra-terrestrial Physics. He studied electrical engineering and later received a doctorate in satellite technology at Technical University of Brunswick, Germany.
