After studying “Maritime Technologies” at the University of Applied Sciences in Bremerhaven, as well as the master’s degree program “Offshore Technology” at the University in Stavanger, Markus Hummel worked as a project engineer at WeserWind GmbH Offshore Construction Georgsmarienhütte in Bremerhaven from 2008, where he was part of the project team involved in several manufacturing projects of offshore foundation structures and substations. In 2011, he was entrusted with the establishment and management of WeserWind’s offshore service department as head of department. Since 2015, Markus Hummel has been a member of the management board of mh2 offshore GmbH, a company specializing in the inspection and maintenance of offshore steel structures.
