Dear guests of the WINDFORCE Conference 2025!

Welcome to Bremerhaven.

We are delighted to have the Netherlands as a partner country for the WAB in 2025. The Netherlands and Germany are leading the way in the expansion of offshore wind energy and have ambitious targets for the first hydrogen projects. We can learn a lot from each other. After all, our common goal of reducing carbon dioxide emissions and strengthening energy security can only be achieved through joint efforts and projects.

The motto of this year's conference is:

Offshore wind: securing Europe's energy security: now more than ever!

The motto is intended to reflect the major challenges facing the energy market, which have raised or prioritized new issues due to global developments, but above all due to the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. These include, for example, discussions on critical infrastructure. The program will be dedicated to this topic. Once again, you can expect an up-to-date and comprehensive overview with a high level of expertise from leading national and international experts on all current relevant topics that are currently affecting our industry and will continue to do so in the future.

The WINDORCE conference has built up a large regular audience over the years, but many new guests also find their way to Bremerhaven every year. This mixture is what makes WINDFORCE so special. That is why I am sure that you will again gain many new insights and contacts this year.
