Henner Heyen has been a research associate in the Testfield Wind and Hydrogen group at Fraunhofer IWES since early 2020. Due to his background as a chemical engineer, Mr. Heyen oversees the process engineering design of the Hydrogen Lab Bremerhaven, as well as the electrochemical research activities. Furthermore, Mr. Heyen is committed to the sustainable development of Fraunhofer IWES and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.

During his studies, Mr. Heyen worked for several years in the field of cell development at the TU Berlin, as well as in battery development in the automotive industry and completed his Master of Science at the TU Berlin/Continental AG in 2019.
